Em um estilo idealizado para ser produzido através de samples, beats e música mecânica sendo feitas exclusivamente por djs, a música elaborada pelo sexteto é orgânica. OZU é Julianna Valle no vocal, Felipe Pagliato na bateria, João Amaral no baixo, Ronan Tarrega (DJ RTA) no Turntable, Sue-Elie Andrade-Dé na guitarra e Francisco Cabral no teclado.

Alone in Town, como sugere o título, fala sobre a solidão urbana e o clipe traduz esse humor.

 

“Queríamos que fosse em formato curta-metragem e que ninguém da banda aparecesse. Escolhemos o Vinicius Vitti como diretor porque ele é meu amigo de longa data e sempre conversamos sobre trabalharmos juntos. Nossas ideias pareciam compatíveis”Francisco Cabral, tecladista.

Brand development by Imagine studio for wellness center Auksinė Giria.

Auksinė Giria is a wellness center in the middle of a beautiful pine forest. This location unites a variety of practices and activities dedicated to a healthier and more conscious way of life. Imagine studio created an interactive brand system that reflects the uniqueness of it. Experiences at the Auksinė Giria are divided into seven groups: nature, self-recognition, discovery, togetherness, relaxation, special occasions, and food. Each of them has its own symbol and together they become the basis of the brand identity. Using strict grid guidelines, the symbols form an individual logo. This way, a dynamic system was created with emphasis put on different experiences. The dominant symbol in the logo represents the main practice of the activity and a unique experience set. This way, all activities in the Auksinė Giria have their own independent signs. Every time a person comes to this resort, they can generate the logo that reflects their unique experiences.

Um casa para morrer: sala de drogas, travesseiros sexuais e muita polêmica

A colaboração entre o artista Bjarne Melgaard e a renomada empresa de design norueguesa Snøhetta parece ter terminado prematuramente neste mês, quando a maioria dos políticos de Oslo rejeitou a proposta de construir a dramática “Casa para morrer”, a poucos metros do histórico estúdio do artista Edvard Munch.

Internacionalmente, Melgaard é conhecido por seu trabalho controverso que freqüentemente se entrega ao fetichismo, vício em drogas e ao racismo casual. (O artista atraiu indignação generalizada em 2014 por suas esculturas de cadeira apresentando mulheres negras como as pernas da mobília.) 

Os críticos mais antigos do projeto eram as pessoas que viviam em uma colônia de artistas próxima, situada no local onde ficava a vila de Munch. É importante que Munch é indiscutivelmente o artista mais famoso da história norueguesa, perdendo apenas para o dramaturgo Henrik Ibse.  Em um país relativamente conservador, perturbar qualquer parte do legado de Munch vem com uma grande quantidade de escrutínio – especialmente para um artista provocador como Melgaard, cuja obra pretende chocar apenas com títulos.

Iniciado em 2011, sua colaboração com Snøhetta foi criada para proporcionar ao artista um espaço de trabalho ao vivo na Noruega que incluía uma “sala de drogas” e “travesseiros sexuais”. As representações arquitetônicas do prédio mostram uma estrutura elegante e parecida com um UFO sustentado por esculturas de gatos.

Desert House by Jim Jennings Architecture

Have a look at the Desert House in Palm Springs, California by Jim Jennings Architecture.

As a native Californian, architect Jim Jennings has a deeply embedded connection to the geometries of landscape and to the abstract qualities of natural light, which is reflected in his architectural work. In 2009, the architect has completed this desert house outside of Palm Springs. Situated on a desert site of undisturbed native vegetation, the modern home is defined by an 8-foot-high concrete wall. It supports a massive steel roof structure and encases two courtyards. The retreat has been designed that everything inside of the wall functions as living space. The generous use of glass results in a feeling of being more connected to the environment. In contrast, the distinctive wall creates a sense of security and privacy.

Buenaventura is a graphic design studio based in Granada, Spain. They mainly focus on visual identities, packaging, and editorial design. The studio was commissioned to create a unique brand identity for the new line of hair cosmetics by Modesta Cassinello. Inspired by the Mediterranean, their creative team came up with a visual system based on different layers which allow for the inclusion of new future products, various sets, and all kinds of merchandising.
